Short answers for merchants evaluating or running Reverse Bundle Pro.
What does Reverse Bundle Pro do?
It converts matching multi-item Shopify orders into one warehouse pack SKU before fulfillment (via Order Edit), so your team or 3PL picks one unit instead of several components.
Is this a checkout / cart bundle app?
No. It does not create storefront upsells. It is for merchants who already stock a pre-packed warehouse SKU and want orders rewritten before ShipStation, ShipBob, or similar tools import Shopify line items.
How do I get started?
Install from the Shopify App Store, approve permissions, run the Setup Wizard, map component products to your pack SKU, and keep fulfillment mode on Order Edit. Stock that pack SKU at the location your 3PL uses.
Why didn’t an order convert?
The cart must include every component in an active rule, your trial/plan must allow conversions, and Order Edit must succeed (inventory, unlocked order). Check Order Conversions / Ledger in the app for the failure reason.
ShipStation still shows separate line items
Modern connectors that use Shopify fulfillment orders wait on our automatic fulfillment hold until Order Edit finishes. If your tool still imports early, filter on tag awaiting-bundle-edit and import after order-edited / reverse-bundled. Tags alone do not reduce pick fees — Shopify line items must change. How do you stop 3PLs from importing before Order Edit?
Industry standard: we call Shopify’s fulfillmentOrderHold on matching orders before editing, then fulfillmentOrderReleaseHold after success (or failure, so orders never stick). Approve the fulfillment-order scopes when Shopify prompts after an app update.
Are dashboard savings real 3PL invoice savings?
Dashboard figures use your pick rate card in Settings (loose-item pick cost vs pack pick cost) — the same operational model most fulfillment apps use. They are not OCR’d carrier invoices. Enter your real labor / 3PL pick rates for accurate ops reporting.
Why does the app ask me to approve permissions again?
Shopify requires merchants to approve new Admin scopes. Fulfillment-order scopes power the automatic hold before Order Edit. Click Approve permissions once in the banner — no reinstall needed.
What if my 3PL ignores Shopify holds?
Confirm in Settings that you filter on tag awaiting-bundle-edit. Optionally add ShipStation API keys so we refresh the ShipStation order note after conversion.
What is the free trial?

Do you integrate natively with ShipStation or ShipBob?
No direct ShipStation/ShipBob API. We edit the Shopify order; any tool that syncs Shopify line items after the edit sees the pack SKU. See Fulfillment.
Can you set up my first rule?
Yes. After install, reply to support@reversebundling.com with two SKUs you often ship together — we’ll help configure the first pack rule.
